Welcome!

I’m Masha, and I run ‘Masha from Milwaukee’ (MFM). I’m a Milwaukee native, Beloit College Grad, Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Uganda), and Public Health PhD student.

It was my time maintaining a blog during my Peace Corps service that motivated me to start this site. (You can check out my Peace Corps blog at hawkinsinuganda.wordpress.com) MFM functions in a few ways, the first is community focused, specifically the greater Milwaukee community. The second function of this site is to serve as a platform for individuals to share their work with others, check out one of our featured photographers, Zack! Finally, MFM serves as a travel blog.

MFM covers a broad range of topics and we hope you’ll find something you enjoy, if you have any comments or inquiries about featuring your own work, leave us a message.
